TRANSPERSONAL PSYCHOTHERAPY: FIVE SESSIONS
This film is designed for student counsellors and therapists. Its strength lies in the genuineness of the sessions and 'exercise' which Andrew Samuels conducts. There is no role play. Segments are shown one at a time with intervals giving space for the working through of material which may have come up. In our experience it is the very variety of techniques featured and the contrast in therapist style that provokes animated reaction from the group. Participants confront each other in response to what they've seen and this is where the training opportunity lies. It is in this interchange that they can refine their attitudes towards their own client work.
